Dr. Jordan Young grew up in St. Anthony, ID. His father was a dentist and Dr. Young loved watching his father help people by fixing their teeth and making their lives better. At the age of five, Dr. Young knew he would be a dentist.
With his attentive, patient nature, and his desire to understand each person’s desires and concerns, Dr. Young offers the best experience. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and loves helping people understand their unique oral health. Educating patients, and encouraging them to care for their oral health, he ensures each patient has a healthy smile.
Dr. Young is extremely skilled at extracting teeth, including wisdom teeth. If you have any worries about an extraction, Dr. Young will help calm them. He offers oral sedation, as well as nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and loves to help people with dental anxiety overcome their fears.
Dr. Young completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University. He then enrolled at Oregon Health and Science University, where he graduated in 2007 with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Committed to providing the best care and a range of leading-edge services to his patients, Dr. Young pursues continuing education. He has completed hands-on courses in dental implant placement and is also certified in Invisalign®. He regularly attends local and regional dental conferences, completes online courses, and takes continuing dental classes at OHSU, too.
